Sex And Marriage

A lot of fuss is going on regarding the age of consent for sex and the age for marriage.

Discussion for deciding the minimum age of marriage is Okay.

But, I don't see the need for discussing the topic of the age of consent for having sex.

Why should we decide the age of consent to have sex at all? Sex will be there automatically when one is married or matured. Why think of sex and get deprived of other values of life?

  • The modern generation has already become more and more materialistic and sexually extra conscious.
  • Ethical and moral values of men have decreased very much.
  • Everywhere, we witness crimes and violence.
  • Each person wants his own selfish enjoyment and growth at the cost of others.
  • Nobody cares about the others. He does not even hesitate for a while in causing trouble to other people for attaining his own desired motive.

In such an environment, publicly debating and wasting time in fixing an age of consent to have sex is very irrelevant. It indirectly implies that the institutions are encouraging the public to have sex among teenagers.

Our institutions should concentrate more on other important issues of life like giving a standard education to children and through that education make them aware of our moral and ethical values of life. And, concentrate more on eradicating the social evils of life and in the upliftment of living standards of people.

  • Students must concentrate more on their studies and their health improvement.
  • Enjoyment of sex will be there on time after one is fully matured.
  • They should not look for sex till their education is complete and get settled in their life.

Indulging in sex will distract your concentration from other goals of achievements. So, until education is completed, your priority should be your studies and in getting higher degrees and, thereafter, in getting a better career. Until then, sex should not be indulged in. Better devote extra time to improving health and in extra-curricular activities and the development of some nice hobbies. You may spend time with friends for improving these healthy habits and in building up your career.

What is alarming is matured parents debating over the age of consent for sex. Instead of taking care that younger generation does not involve in sexual indulgence, they discuss it publicly as if some most important thing of career is discussed.

We must not encourage sex before settlement in life and if it happens by mistake or spontaneously, we must guide those youngsters to be reasonable and not get flown by emotions.

So, do not waste your time in fixing the age of consent for sex.

One thing more I may want to point out is that sex should not be treated as a mere physical enjoyment.

It is more of a mental joy and peace.

When you have sex with your partner, besides the physical enjoyment, you will be experiencing a pure mental love and satisfaction with your partner. So, when enjoying it after marriage with your spouse, the bondage between both of you will become stronger (both mentally and physically) which will be more fruitful and eternal.

Important Tips for Personality Development of Children

Here are some simple and important tips to children for grooming themselves into good and healthy children. Even though these tips are intended for students, they apply equally to all people in many cases for building up a good Personality Development.

Wake up early in the morning and revise your lessons taught yesterday. As your mind will be very fresh and calm it can grasp the essence very easily and quickly in the early hours of the day. So it will provide a strong base for your knowledge and you will be able to grasp and memorize everything very spontaneously.

After this, you can have some light exercise or walk and then take your bath. While bathing you must take a complete bath applying hygienic soaps. The soaps or shampoos should be kept dry in their places in the bathroom and prevent them from getting wet. Wet soaps which get soaked in their containers when using shower baths or due to careless handling are not hygienic and should not be used. In winters, you may not bath on your head but periodical head bath should be taken with shampoo at least once in a week. In summers, it is better to bath from your head daily for full freshness. Bathing gives you freshness and makes you active and healthy. It regenerates your appetite also.

After taking bath, you will dress up and if you have extra time, you can help your mother in her work or help your father and siblings and you want to pray to God, you can do that also for one or two minutes, or if you have any homework left unfinished, you can do that. But, the best time for doing your homework will be in the late evening hours or the night of the same day that you got it. Try to complete your homework the same day always and never postpone it.

Then you can have your breakfast, take your lunch box and go to the school timely. Never go late to school at any circumstance. It tarnishes your image among teachers and students also. So be punctual and don't try to take leave from classes any day unless it is unavoidable. Because if you are absent, you will miss your classes and the lessons taught on that day. It is a very great minus point for you if you miss classes. Because, when the teacher explains a lesson and by concentrating on his teaching, you will be able to understand better than by studying it yourself. So, never miss classes. And try to concentrate wholly on your teacher's teachings whenever he teaches something.

One more thing. Always respect your teachers and elders just like your parents. Don't try to see at their weaknesses. Always see their good things and try to learn from their good points only. Just think of them as your career developers and elders in both knowledge and age and always respect them.

After school hours, you must try to take part in sports and games and other extracurricular activities of your choice. Try to grow your sports talent as well as some arts like painting, drawing, music either vocal or instrumental and dancing etc. Participation in games and other extracurricular activities like stage performances keep your mind and body healthy and fit and they help you in grooming your personality.

Another advice is to keep always away from bad company and bad elements. Never go nearer to bad habits and people having those habits. Maintain distance from such things as far as possible. Don't be weak and succumb to bad habits like smoking, drinking, tobacco chewing, teasing people, etc. You may have to repent of it at a later stage. So, be stubborn. Always remember your parents and other good personalities and try to be moral, ethical, and of help to your society and surroundings.

And now last but not the least, "Be proud of your Family, your Heritage, and your Country". Never feel ashamed of talking of your parents and family. And never think of your self as inferior to others. Always talk proudly of your family, your village, and the country.

International Women's Day and Equality of Rights and Respect for Women

"Rights, Justice, Action for All Women and Girls"- International Women's Day Theme (2026)

On this International Women's Day, we are celebrating the emancipation of women all over the world. But let us do some introspection. Let us speak frankly.

Are we 100% sure that all women truly enjoy the freedom and share equal rights with men in all spheres? Are they equally secure and free from fear to do whatever they want, just like men do?

Giving an answer to these questions may make you think for a while and leave you dumb, as you are not sure of their security in many situations and environments.

In most circumstances, a man thinks his decision is the final verdict in any matter. He expects the woman to adhere to his decisions and act or behave accordingly. He did not like women's dominance over him. Even though he may be talking of the equality of women, he may still be feeling that she should adhere to his wishes and orders.

Some Baseless Mentalities

It has been inherited through the ages that man is superior to woman. That she is weak and needs protection. That she should be taken care of and protected by a man. That women can not live without the supervision of men. But, in the case of a man, there is no such assumption that he can not live without the woman, nor does he need protection from her, etc.

So, basically, a woman used to feel that she is weak if not supported by a man and thereby develops a mentality that she can not stand and face society if she is not protected by her man. This innate feeling of a woman makes her weak and inferior to a man.

This feeling of insecurity in women is further increased by violent acts of men, such as anger, scolding, beating, and harassment with threats and other indecent acts.

What Needs to Be Done

.
So, the first thing that women must do is to eradicate this feeling of fear and insecurity from their minds. They should try to develop confidence, courage, and the willpower to do things as they like instead of listening mutely to their men and submitting to their compulsions. Confidence is the most important factor, as without confidence, they cannot make decisions to act. They should develop some courage to express their likes and act accordingly. They should develop the courage to face and challenge the anti-women-minded men and their crimes against women.

The environment has indeed changed now, and people's attitude and mentality are changing. Nowadays, women are stepping out bravely and participating in all activities, even surpassing men. They have attained some topmost positions in all fields.

The Emergence of Women Activists and Laws

But even now, men's atrocities are not stopping. The recent Delhi Gang Rape of Nirbhaya, the abduction and shooting of Pakistani teenage rights activist cum schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai, and other such incidents have drawn uproar and anguish from all corners, with women coming out on roads in such unexpectedly massive gatherings to express protests with huge, loud voices indicating that they will no longer bear the atrocities and crimes of society. Further, the fight back put out by these victims indicates their extreme courage, fearlessness, and determination.

Our Laws are also being made more and more strict and stringent to safeguard women's rights and impose stringent punishment on culprits. Many women's upliftment and welfare schemes have been launched by our governments to create awareness among women and provide them security, education, employment, and medical care on par with men.

Transformation in Mentality is Needed

Despite all this, unless women develop the willpower and determination to face challenges and fight against men's atrocities and social evils, how long can any law protect them from harassment and humiliation? What is the use of such laws merely imposing punishment after the occurrence of the crime?

And, men should try to create a healthy and safer environment for women. They should cooperate with women in making their living conditions better by treating them with respect and giving them equal rights and freedom.

So, let us pledge to this cause today. This will be the most valuable and greatest gift you offer your women on this "International Women's Day ".

How to Stop Crimes - A Study of Causes and Remedies for Crimes

The ongoing incidents of bomb blasts, rapes, and other violent incidents, again and again, reminds us of the brutal nature and heinous mentality innate among human beings. In spite of all our harsh measures and precautions, we are unable to control this part of human nature. Man becomes so much violent that you can't stop him. We become helpless in such circumstances and can only pray to God to calm him and give him a little bit of good mentality.

Weaknesses of Man

Every man possesses this bad element in him whether it may be very nominal or vast. But most of us are able to assess what is right and wrong and thereby able to control this bad element from being expressed explicitly. Even then, at times, we are unable to have full control over it and express it through our anger or some violent acts like quarreling and beating, etc. Most of us may be considering these things as normal human behavior and are not worried about it.

Lack of Self-Control

But, some men do not have even the slightest amount of this capacity to judge what is right and what is wrong. And, thereby, they are unable to control themselves. That is why they act very emotionally and wickedly. They will not be thinking about the after effects of their behavior. Simply, they act spontaneously. Some of them may be repenting for their behavior later. But most of them do not have even the sense that they have done something wrong. They do not at all think of it and forget it immediately.

Mental Problems and Environmental Factor

Now, these type of men are to be considered as mentally ill, underdeveloped, and not capable of living or adjusting to their surroundings. That's why they often try to exhibit their feelings violently. Most of these cases may be due to the environmental conditions in which they are brought up, the circles they live in and interact with; the education and training that they receive from unsocial elements and might also be due to their poor economic conditions which are creating jealousy and hatred. All these factors make these men be insensitive, irrational, cruel, and helpless. They are more worried about their present condition and so, lose control over their senses thereby acting spontaneously. This makes them do all those bad things for some immediate gains.

Ignorance and Lack of Awareness/ Support

So, it needs that we should try to inculcate some awareness and healthy feelings among these men to make them understand what is right and wrong or good and bad. These people require proper education and guidance from their families, friends, relatives, communities, and organizations. From the beginning itself, they should be taught to be rational, kind, and good-natured. For this, they should be given assistance, care, love, and support in all their weaknesses thereby developing a good mental health in them. They should be given all psychological guidance needed to recover themselves. This can make them realize their weaknesses and faults and help them restrain from committing crimes.

Remedies to Stop Crimes

The immediate step that we must take is to eradicate this bad element of brutal thoughts from men by giving them proper guidance, assistance, and love.

Unless all of us determine to eradicate evils from the roots of our society, the crimes cannot be controlled or stopped.

By simply providing tighter securities or making the criminal laws more stringent, we cannot solve this problem.

We need to work out from the root causes and circumstances of crimes.

Need to nullify those fundamental roots by taking preventive steps and by imparting a proper awareness of basic moral values and human values from the early stages of their growth.

Agnipoolu - A Mega TV serial In Telugu Language: An Introduction

Like the big hit  Mogalirekulu, another mega tv serial based on the story of Yuddhanapudi SulochanaRani, Agnipoolu has been on air on Gemini TV prime time slot, immediately preceding the Mogalirekulu telecast time ie. from 8 pm. to 8:30 pm.

This Telugu serial is also going to be a marvelous hit like Mogalirekulu in all aspects with the brilliant direction of Manjula Naidu and superb scene creations by Bindu Naidu.

"Agnipulu" literally means "Fire Flowers". They can face sun's heat and wild storms and yet stand fresh and still on the branches without losing their softness and brilliant shine. The tree also gives shelter to many lives until it can. The characters of the four girls are symbolized as "fire flowers" trying to do something always for the good of society with their great intentions, honesty, and perseverance.

The story of Agnipoolu revolves around four young college freshers Rajyalakshmi, Mythili, Neelaveni, and Sonia. It portrays the deeply bonded friendship between these four girls based on pure love and affection for each other. Even though they were brought up in different cultures and atmospheres, they are so deeply bonded to each other that classes and castes do not come in between them. They share every moment of joy with each other and are ever ready to help one another in moments of grief.

The story started in a village Suravaram with a love affair between Govind, a lecturer, and his student Parvathi. As Parvathi belonged to a high-class family, her marriage was fixed with one Swamidas(son of a rich village head of Suravaram village), who later becomes M.P. As Swamidas comes to know of the love affair, he manages to kidnap Govind master with the help of an S.I., and manages to put him in an unknown cell of Cherlapally Jail under life-term imprisonment. Nobody was aware of this. As Parvati was pregnant, her mother conceals the fact from others by keeping her away from home for some months till delivery period. The child was stealthily taken away from Parvathi and she was told that a dead child was born to her. After that Parvathi was convinced to marry Swamidas through emotional blackmailing by her parents.

Rajyalakshmi has no father. Her mother is everything for her. Even though she is working as HR in a big company where the wife of M.P Swamidas (Parvathi) is M.D., she still behaves like a child with her mother. Her action is worth watching. MD Parvathi gets attracted at the beauty and innocence of this girl and decides to marry her son Viren to this girl. She disclosed her wish to Rajalakshmi's mother also. But Swamidas wanted to marry his son Viren with the daughter of a big industrialist friend. So he plots for the elimination of Rajyalakshmi from the scene by creating an accident when verbal warnings to her mother failed. While Rajyalakshmi was in office, her mother comes to her in a fear to take her to temple for praying to God. But the brakes of their car were got tampered by Swamidas's men and Rajyalakshmi gets brain injury in the accident and is admitted to a hospital.

Mythili is an orphan and running an ashram with the salary she gets by working in a company. She has a childhood friend Shyam who went abroad many years ago for studies and returns to India and established a big advertising agency. He gathers information regarding his childhood friend Mythili somehow but wanted to know whether she still remembers and loves him. He makes Facebook friends with her and interacts. But he wanted to confirm before advancing. So he enters into the field with a changed look and name to test her. He meets her boss on the pretext of making some contracts with the company. Mythili did not recognize him and keeps indifferent. She gets annoyed as he follows her. She thinks him to be a characterless person. He discloses his identity to her as her childhood friend Shyam. But she did not believe him at first and when she was made to believe that he is her childhood Shyam, she breaks. She thinks he had cheated her and is not moral. She tells him to get away from her life. Later, when she realizes that all this was done only to get nearer to her, she repents but by that time Shyam leaves the country.

Neelaveni is the daughter of a newspaper owner/editor. She works in a TV channel as a news reader. Her interest in books and other fields make her come in contact with a young lawyer Pruthvi, who has just started his career. He is an angry young man worried at the crimes in society. He is fascinated by Neelaveni's tastes and thoughts. As he thinks himself to be an orphan, he finds pleasure and intimacy in Neelaveni's company. Even though he is more emotional and very intimate with Govind Master who is in Cherlapally Jail and regards him as his most close acquaintance and an elderly respectable person, he is unaware that he is his own father as this fact is being kept very secret by Govindji fearing danger to his life.

Sonia is interested in the modeling career. But her parents who are both doctors and running their own hospital, wanted her to work with them. Sonia does not like this and fearing force by father, she leaves the house to return to them only after achieving her goal. In the pursuit, she enters Mumbai and gets trapped in the hands of some bad intent people in fleeing from whom, she gets caught by police who mistook her for a prostitute. However, with the help of a gentle young man Abbas, she gets out of all these dangers and lives in his protection. With his efforts, she gets some appointments with the big advertising agency boss, Shyam who might help her in achieving her goal.

Now, we have to watch how many turns the story will take. Whether Rajyalakshmi and her young boss Viren get married and lead a happy life?

Whether Prithvi Teja is able to recognize his father and gets acquainted with all the happenings?

Whether Parvathi recognizes Prithvi to be her son?

Whether Prithvi and Neelaveni get knotted up?

What is the fate of Mythili and Shyam?

Whether Sonia succeeds in achieving her dream and who is going to be her life partner?

Whether the deep bondedness and love between all these four young women last till the end?

To get answers to all these questions watch the Telugu daily serial Agnipoolu on Gemini tv.
